Vestas is the energy industry`s global partner for sustainable energy solutions. We design, manufacture, install and maintain wind turbines worldwide, and with more than 113 GW of wind turbines in 81 countries, we have installed more wind energy than anyone else. With our core smart data features and unprecedented wind turbines of more than 96 GW, we use data to interpret, predict and exploit wind resources and provide first-class wind solutions. Together with our customers, Vestas` more than 25,000 employees bring the globally sustainable energy solution to a bright future. EDL CEO James Harman said: “EDL is pleased to name Vestas our maintenance service provider for Coober Pedy, Cullerin Range and Wonthaggi wind farms. We look forward to a safe and productive relationship with Vestas. Service contracts begin immediately. (Image: Pixabay/Pexels.) To secure this service contract, Vestas used its know-how to use all major Senvion platforms, including the MM82-2.05MW, MM92-2.05, 3.XM EBC and 3.XM NES platforms. As the largest provider of multi-fire services to the wind industry, the new agreements will increase the Senvion turbine portfolio in Australia to 287 MW and more than 300 MW across the Asia-Pacific region. The partnership with EDL leads to the unannounced safeguarding of Vestas` first Senvion service contract in Asia, as well as two community-based Senvion sites in Victoria, Australia.
